In the morals and customs of the Cossacks, as in a mirror, the entire path of the struggle for the survival of a warrior, a farmer, a family man and a person who simply respects his work is reflected. The originality of the Cossacks was reflected in three forms: courage in battle, diligence in work, piety in everyday life. The Cossacks developed a particularly reverent attitude towards children and the elderly.
